Markus Gift Card FAQ

Frequntly Asked Questions:

  1. Using the Gift Card:

      The gift card can be downloaded to a smartphone and added to your account. It serves as a payment method for the indicated amount and can be used repeatedly within six months from the date of purchase.
      Any remaining balance after each use can be utilized at any participating unit until the card balance or the validity period expires.
  1. Where Can I Use the Gift Card:

      The gift card is accepted at various units, stores, venues and self-service checkouts. When using it at a regular checkout, inform the service attendant of Your intention to pay with the gift card.
      For self-service checkouts, direct the unique QR code on the gift card towards the scanner.
  1. Validity Period of the Gift Card:

      The gift card becomes valid on the day of purchase and can be used in its entirety for six months.
      The gift card cannot be extended beyond this period.
  1. Unused Balance:

      If the purchase amount is less than the value of the gift card, the remaining balance becomes usable until the end of the card's validity period.
      Unused balances are non-refundable.
  1. Gift Card Information:

      Information about gift card usage, validity, unused balances, and rules can be found by scanning the QR code on the card or visiting the relevant website.
  1. Using the Gift Card Online:

      The gift card can be used online on the participating unit's website.
  1. Limitations of the Gift Card:

      The gift card is non-exchangeable for cash, cannot be repurchased, and is non-transferable. It cannot be used to purchase other gift cards or gift tickets.
  1. Activating the Gift Card:

      The gift card becomes active on the day of purchase. For convenient use, you can scan it with your mobile phone and add it to your smartphone or account.
  1. Ways to Purchase the Gift Card:

      Physical gift cards are available at all participating stores, cinemas and venues. Electronic gift cards can be purchased on the relevant Business' website.
  1. New vs Old Gift Card vs Gift Ticket:

      The old gift card and cinema gift tickets cannot be combined with the new gift card. The option to use the new gift card repeatedly until the balance expires does not apply to the old gift card or gift tickets.
      The old gift card and cinema gift tickets are valid for six and three months, and their value cannot be transferred to the new gift card.
